An origami has snuggled into a fold of Google Earth, a new occurrence of the encoding/folding undertaking to which Etienne Cliquet devotes himself with the humour and the seriousness required. The Ordigami folds, unfolds, encodes and charts, intricates consecutively the researches of the “computational origami”, the language games and the instructions to which the conceptual artists… bend. Surprises : the suggested unseemliness lets glimpse the congruence of apparently antithetic imaginaries. A traditional art of paper and the digital technology are submitted to incessant transfers and heartening shiftings, bent to the artist’s philosophical factory.

The Drive Scroll screen saver displays the data from a disk drive as a scrolling image. The data is directly copied to an RGB screen buffer without interpretation.
